Applications to Become an RTO is becoming easier with new online services now available on the ASQA website. 

Online applications are now available via  ASQAnet. RTOs can log in to ASQAnet to create and submit applications online for gaining and maintaining registration as an NVR RTO. http://www.asqa.gov.au/asqanet.html

Loaded for your ease are video tutorials and user guides so you know how to submit the application online.

They also say RTOs will also be able to make online credit card payments for applications requiring fee payment (I haven’t heard from anyone yet as to the ease of this process) .

So for those of you who love online services you can for the following applications:

• Application for initial RTO registration
• Application to renew RTO registration
• Application to change scope of RTO registration
• Application to withdraw RTO registration.

All other applications need to be via the forms available from the ASQA website. http://www.asqa.gov.au/forms.html

Remember the website is updated regularly and new material appears following key issues being raised through the info line and enquiries mailbox. So bookmark the site and visit it regularly to keep up to date on new information.

Anyone with a pending application to become an RTO with a State or Territory regulato,r and you will be transferring to the ASQA is being advised they are getting to you.
