Sometimes it is worthwhile reviewing what the experts have written, and how your RTO is expected to look. When you have a specific issue, it’s helpful to have a reference from someone, or a group of people, with special experience and expertise in dealing with problems or issues like the one you’re facing. This is why a few years ago the WA Dept. of TRaining and Workforce development consulted with experts and had them write some very interesting books.
Valuable books and tools such as :
- Continuous improvement guide
- Clustering of Units of competence
- Designing assessment tools
- Professional development
- Reasonable adjustment
- RPL
- Assessment in VET
- E-assessment guidelines in the VET sector
have been developed for all RTOs in Australia to use. They are downloaded now and FREE.
Developed by the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development the tools will to assist you in meeting compliance in developing your RTO or in an existing RTO.
They also will help you if you are doing your TAE.
The tools have been around for a number of years now, however they have recently been updated.
The publications can be reproduced in whole or part for educational purposes, within an educational institution and on condition that it is not offered for sale.
The site address has been moved – but you can still find them using Dr Google.
Brilliant to keep on your shelf and refer to them when you have your next project.
