Isn’t it lovely to receive compliments from a job well done.
Today I wrote a simple email to a car yard as I wanted to show my appreciation of their service. This yard is exceptional in my opinion, it has people in it who treat you like a person (not just a number, or worse a “female number” or a “sale”). I ended up purchasing a car from them and this week I had to take it in for its first service. Once again I was treated like royalty.
So I wrote an email thanking them for their service.
In response, less than an hour later, I received a beautiful email from the Managing Director (of the 5 yards) saying how much he appreciated the email…. “Whilst I am not surprised at the service you received it is very rare for someone to take the time to put it in writing, so often people take good service for granted and only write if something minor has occurred.”
I felt so warm and fuzzy inside, I wanted to share with you all the benefits of spending that small amount of time to thank someone for a job well done.
And the best bit is it isn’t just about you giving; the world will share with you, and you will also receive compliments that are deserved.
If you base your RTO on quality customer service, make it easy for your clients to make contact with you and thank you for a job well done.
Enjoy the compliments that come your way.
