Your RTO business is no different, it is built upon interactions with so many people; clients, government, consultants, trainers, assessors, trainees, industry. Your business takes the direction you want, but through the journey you are pushed and pulled by supporting and sometimes unsupporting contacts.

For this reason we need to have a game plan, a strategy or business plan to guide us back to the direction we originally wanted to take.

Your business plan is essential for your business – it’s your blueprint for the future. It sets the direction for your business and keeps you on track once you’re up and running.

Do you know the direction that your RTO is heading in and what your goals are? Well-run businesses have strategic business plans that are reviewed at least annually, so make sure your RTO has one too!

July is the beginning of the new financial year and by now you should have reviewed your plan, looked at your figures, feedback and results and worked out a strategy for the next 12 months. If not, do it now…the time spent will be well worth it.
