Quality circles are a form of informal review and are an excellent way to look at what is working and what isn’t workingwithin your RTO.
Quality circles involve a brain storming activity that allows the members of the work circles to indentify, analyse, and recommend solutions to work-related problems. The problems are listed and then prioritised. The team from the circle work through the list and meet again 2 weeks later.
successful quality circles can offer a variety of benefits to your RTO:
- increase management’s awareness of employee ideas,
- Increase employee awareness of the need for innovation
- facilitate communication
- increase commitment amongst the workers and management.
- enhancing employee satisfaction through participation in decision-making
- the ability to retain employees
- they further teamwork
- reduce employee resistance to change
- improve your competitiveness by reducing costs, improving quality, and promoting innovation.
If you want to take your RTO from ordinary to extraordinary then you should be considering quality circles. Focus on what is working; not what’s not working and achieve consistency.
Clients want consistency in your business, you will achieve this with continuous review.
Motivate and encourage your team to achieve higher results.
