2014 is moving rapidly ahead, and RTOs and people intending to become RTOs should be keeping aware of the new standards that will begin to reshape RTOs in 2015. On 8 October Minister Macfarlane announced the implementation of new national Standards from 1 January 2015 for new RTOs and 1 April 2015 for existing RTOs. November information sessions have been released in 17 metropolitan and regional cities. The revised standards do look diff erent; however they are essentially very much the same as the current standards being used across Australia (AQTF or NVR standards). Now is the time to review what you have happening within your RTO and make sure you are ready to meet the new compliance.
