LLN Resources available for everyone

With the new LLN unit for trainers being pushed out, RTOs are looking at ways to support their students more and more. If you or your RTO is seeking to improve participants’ language, literacy and/or numeracy, to enable them to participate more effectively in the training offered by your RTO or in the labour force which in turn lead to greater gains for them and society in the longer term, then you need to look at the resources you provide in your RTO. I felt it was time to start letting people know about some of the fantastic resources that are available.

LLN resources have been developed under public funding for a few years now, so you find that there are some excellent resources becoming available in many forms. Many have been funded through the Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Program to assist learners, workers and trainers in the development of core literacy, language and numeracy (LLN) skills for the sector.

Below are some that I thought you might find useful. Practice Aptitude Quizzes Practice Aptitude Quizzes are a general resource, rather than a specific aptitude test, designed to illustrate some of the key literacy, numeracy and comprehension learning standards required of people attempting an Australian Apprenticeships entry-level qualification.
